so one rather random sunday evening a couple of weeks ago i did my good deed of the week and drove my dust collecting overlocker over to nova & jeff's ... prepping a huge order for Japan the wonderful couple behind Nova Chiu probably haven't slept since the brand took off after Nova's graduate show last spring - where is was announced she had won Graduate Collection of the Year!
in our brief catch up Nova & Jeff asked if myself & the team would be once again interested in shooting an artistic lookbook - our last klimt inspired shoot featuring the graduate collection you can see here -.. this time of course for the new aw12/13 collection - recently shown at vauxhall fashion scout in feb - ... ermmm... no guesses what the answer was!!!
here are some of Nova Chiu's latest designs from AW Shows in feb - keeping the ethnic roots of the shangri-la region that have clearly inspired Nova, the new collection has been fused with a new york 80s vibe an influence of Jeffs background.. its amazing to see the coming together of east and west!
so... time for verity cumming, mariell amelie & myself to get our little creative minds working to create something inspiring and beautiful for the brand.. watch this space!
