wee little peak at Laurel & Hardy & Marx Brothers inspired shoot that I've been banging on about! was so fun shooting.. sneaking through to private car parks and climbing roof tops mehe!!

can't wait to scan in the negs when I'm back from Singapore! will probably be 2 weeks or so before the finished editorial is up but for now.. some crappy photoshop filter :].

so finally finished the christianity shoot. thanks to the boyfriend & the brother standing in the cold being scolded by hot wax!

using only candle light as my light source and no flash to experiment with contrasting shadows and movement..

& these are two of my absoloute favorites!

Mooshki Bespoke.

So.. here are 2 of designs for Mooshki Bespoke bridal. Just to get the ball rolling, test the quality and all that jazz! Looking forward to shooting them when there in and mix it up a little bit!

Thinking one commercial shoot and then a little over the top creativeness is always in need ;].

There has always been something about the imperfect that makes me jump for joy. Maybe being very 'London' or just a passion for the raw textures surfaces of the decaying and eroding world. (yes hence the name of le bloggie ;])

These old fragmented, over exposed and chemically eroding negatives that have been quick cut into a film stream are a perfect example.

Mooshki Bespoke Bridalwear.

GAH! okay its been 10 days im sorry.. to the imaginary people that actually read this :|!

time has flown by and well i've had more important stuff to do than sit being a nerd face :]

So i've been getting ready to face the challenge of brides.. again. This time in the even scarier world of Bespoke. Mooshki (the bespoke shoe company i have mentioned many a time) have now launched a new Bridal section where the bride has the chance to have her dream wedding dress designed and made to her specific taste. In this package she can also go to the next step of having bridesmaids designed. THEN ALSO shoes and bags to match!!!

Can't wait to see what briefs i get!

Fridays are now Mooshki Fridays, as this launches i will be doing some starter designs to get the ball rolling and having a wee little photoshoot ;] as well as testing the quality of the dresses.

Will post up illustrations and what not as time goes by!

Ok so probably my favorite still life project from last year, the imagery i found for my research inspired me endlessly.

The purity, sadness, pain, love, hate, sacrifice and greed.

Thought i would look back at these for some inspiration for a shoot i have to photograph myself.. hmm thats going to be interesting :/!!

So.. when prepping for the make up store shoot I made up all the headdresses and tested them on myself to see what would work.

I had to photograph a couple to send over to Ole (some extremely embarrassing), so thought I would do abit of illustration over the top to extend my portfolio, also for a bit of messy fun. not just to hide my embarrassed face aha.
