nonstop.

so its been a while... 

been so busy its unreal!

spent 10 days in the far east fabric and lace shopping.. now back to london and a million shoots..

shot at the weekend for USED Mag Online.. backstage to come!!..

have spent this week back up in the north working on new shots of my bridalwear collection...

... will be shooting submission for  XQuisit next weekend..

..as well as hopefully a menswear shoot with flora the week after..

fingers crossed shooting in a gorgeous little house in norwich in a couple of weeks as well as doing a lookbook weve been talking about for a while!!!!.. 

..so i guess im booked up for june already :|...

i have a pile of new work i neeed to show you but unfortunately i have to wait until it is out and published.. soon i may be able to update my website!!

at long last!!

but.. this weekend its my birthday & bank holiday weekend :D...so i guess i'll see you once i've sobered up.. maybe on wednesday!

eeee..so you have probably seen a few posts from me recently featuring work from printed textile designer amy hillyard..

amy & myself have recently collaborated on a little project together and created a bright, print-tastic shoot that will be used as amy's graduate collection lookbook...doing something a little more fun and editorial to complement the digitally enchanted prints..

amy's graduate collection exhibition will be on the 17th may... and yes i WILL be wearing those trousers :-D!!!!

so one rather random sunday evening a couple of weeks ago i did my good deed of the week and drove my dust collecting overlocker over to nova & jeff's ... prepping a huge order for Japan the wonderful couple behind Nova Chiu probably haven't slept since the brand took off after Nova's graduate show last spring - where is was announced she had won Graduate Collection of the Year!

in our brief catch up Nova & Jeff asked if myself & the team would be once again interested in shooting an artistic lookbook - our last klimt inspired shoot featuring the graduate collection you can see here -.. this time of course for the new aw12/13 collection - recently shown at vauxhall fashion scout in feb - ... ermmm... no guesses what the answer was!!!

here are some of Nova Chiu's latest designs from AW Shows in feb - keeping the ethnic roots of the shangri-la region that have clearly inspired Nova, the new collection has been fused with a new york 80s vibe an influence of Jeffs background.. its amazing to see the coming together of east and west!

so... time for verity cumming, mariell amelie & myself  to get our little creative minds working to create something inspiring and beautiful for the brand.. watch this space!

the one and only wonderful louise körner..

..graduating from Istituto Marangoni in summer 2011, Louise's inspiring 'decayed pethio' graduate collection was first shot by Mariell Amelie in a stunningly eery and edgy lookbook shoot..

.. soon after Louise was drafted onto a project by none other than David Bamber - Tom Ford Design Director!! - and The English National Ballet. Her role in the project to create costumes for the new production of Stravinsky's Firebird, choreographed by George Williamson.

At the end of Feb 2012, The English National Ballet & Firebird Design Team were invited to Tate Britain during the "Picasso and the Modern British Art" exhibition - as Firebird was a work inspired by Picasso - where Louise Körner was asked to participate in talks about the Costume Designs and the project experience as a whole.

Parallel with the Ballet project, Louise's Graduate collection has been picked out by MUUSE (Online Fashion Boutique featuring and selling limited edition pieces by fashion gratuates), which led to her being featured on Italian 'Vogue Talents' online. As if this wasn't enough her collection has been featured in many fashion events, magazines and music videos - including Jenna G & Dr.P - 'Neon' - and worn by celebs such as Natasha Bedingfeild in recent editorials.

..a real swedish sweetie and beautiful soul, Louise has propelled herself into the fashion world and with her raw talent and enthusiasm i know she will keep doing all us marangonians proud!!
